PFW design and manufacture all the bleed air piping (as well as fuel and some hydraulics) for the A350 aircraft program.
My company was engaged to help get the programs back on track. Improve customer relations and establish a recovery plan for the A350 bleed air systems, fuel systems and hydraulic systems programs (in accordance with GRESS and ABD0100).
Also at PFW request ran UK based suppliers on behalf of senior management and procurement. Resolved engineering and project issues after bad management created a crisis. Pin pointed the problems and removed them. Vastly improved stability of parts delivery.

B/E is a client who manufactures Galleys and Crew rests for commercial aircraft.
They engaged my company to manage their Sukhoi galley programme as well as their Airbus crew rests which I did for 3 months. This also included managing and witnessing the dynamic testing off site on their behalf.
Brought on board the A350 program to get completion of the formal engineering documentation (in accordance with GRESS and ABD0100).
Also managed the complete overall and upgrade of their test facilities in preparation for the new A350 galley test programme.
Manager in charge of all the development test programmes for the whole of the Leighton Buzzard site.

A challenging role but I really enjoyed it. I established a production line for Martin-Baker in Pennsylvania and made some real friends over their.
Developed a new unique large displacement shock machine using a linear motor.
Explored the challenges of UV protective coating of Para-Aramids, weaving para-aramids yarns in to webbing for harnesses. Became the world authority on MA-16 inertia reals, MIL-R8236F specification, developed new variants for MB.
Ran dozens of high "G" dynamic crash tests, developed a centrifuge for use on a shaker.
Dealt with NASA, US Airforce, US Army and demonstrated the new products to all three forces representatives in the UK and in the USA.
Sourced new suppliers for Martin-baker ensured quality and reliability of supply and worked with them to deliver the products.
Spent two years trialing metal injection moulding, analysing the cost effectiveness, structural properties and many other aspects.

My company has been engaged as the onsite representative for Honeywell Aerospace at Ametek Airscrew. Project Airbus A350 heating systems. Providing guidance on Airbus GRESS and ABD0100 procedures ensuring programme delivery and engineering issues are resolved and parts delivery are on schedule.
